Blair's previous book did bring in fantastic results in my life in less than 72 hours. I could see it happen in my life.

Thank you for Forbes Robbins Blair again for giving me the tools I needed at just the right time. I had just finishing reading MANIFESTO by FRB. And it gave me the clarity I needed for getting back into my metaphysical practice. Sometimes it can be very esoteric and confusing. You can have your highs and lows with any spiritual practice it’s normal. And you can tell yourself stories that aren’t really true with information overload. MANIFESTO made it simple. It reset my thoughts in a powerful way with precision and focus. And that’s what works for me just tell me in simple terms and tell me what to do! So with his latest book THE MANIFESTO MATRIX it did exactly that it walks you through a nine-step process with very impactful results. And here’s why: Forbes Robbins Blair is the real deal. He practices what he preaches. And it goes way beyond being a hypnotherapist. He is a vast study of eastern and western philosophy along with his study of metaphysics. And that knowledge has been curated into a simple powerful tool set in THE MANIFESTO MATRIX. And here is the magical part when I got his latest books the next week I got a new job completely out of the blue. That never happens but this time it did crazy cool! I know it’s because I set better intentions and didn’t let doubt get in the way. I got the tools from Forbes and I’m very grateful.

Best book I've read on making manifestation actually work.

Here's what I really like about this book; the author is sincere. He's not trying to say he's the best thing since sliced bread, and he's not promising the moon, the sun and the stars.

What he is saying, and showing, is a great way for ordinary folks (like me) to use a better way of manifestation. Let me tell you, I've read The Secret and put a LOT of what it said into practice, with limited (but some) success. I've never been completely satisfied with the results however, so I keep looking.

Author Forbes Robbins Blair (what a name, am I right?!) has put together quite a little book here, and the results I've had since I read it (and re-read it several times) have been more impressive than anything I've ever read/done/practiced about manifestation. Changes in my work, changes in my relationship and financial changes have all come about since I started, more than can be chalked up to mere coincidence.

I won't try to oversell it, but I will say this; great book, with great ideas, concepts and, most importantly, action steps to take and make manifesting work for you. I recommend it highly.

I wish this would come back in print, and (as usual with the Scary books), I wish they would issue them complete and unabridged! The Animals Merry Christmas is a tender and touching collection of stories about children for whom Christmas is at risk. As always, Scary's characters are anthropomorphized animals, whose dilemmas bridge the divide between species. His characters long for a specific toy, long for love, long to be needed. As children we begged for these stories again and again. I bought a used copy for my son, and now he does too!

Those who cannot successfully predict such mundane trivialities as next season's fashions in hemlines or the trends in popular music five years down the road can hardly expect to be taken seriously as prophets who can foretell the ultimate fate of the entire universe!" - From the Introduction by Joseph D. Pryce Ludwig Klages (1872-1956) has become one of the twentieth century's most unjustly neglected thinkers. Born in Hanover, Germany, in his youth he was one of the founders of the Cosmic Circle in Munich, which was centered on the ideas and poetry of Stefan George. He went on to become an important critic of the trends in philosophy, psychology and society of his day, and was often praised even by his adversaries. Klages rejected the modern world that he saw in development, calling instead for a renewal of civilization based upon the ideas of ancient Greece and German Romanticism. Klages was also responsible for making the unconscious the focus of modern psychology, and for introducing such terms as the "Id" and the introvert-extrovert scale to the discipline, although others were destined to take credit for these discoveries. He was honored by the German government with a Festschrift in conjunction with his 80th birthday.

Brilliantly combining history and biography, Joseph Pryce introduces us to one of the most prolific philosophers of the twentieth century, Ludwig Klages. This book explores Klages' motivations and often overlooked theories about the roles of humanity. His theories are eerily accurate of today's society.

I have been reading Pryce's poetry for years. Like his poems this is a book you can read again and again. #Brilliant.

This volume contains two Tantras: the Tantra of Great Bliss and the Tantra of the Natural Intent of the Heart. Both of these Tantras represent a meeting of the Atiyoga tradition and the Mahayoga, and offer us an insight into the interrelationship of these two classes of Tantra as they are brought together. We are gradually introduced to a seed syllable and to mandalas both physical and sonic, elaborately described in colorful detail. Practices are described, including a graphic description of sexual yoga, while we are reminded that there is no practice or meditation. The translations in this book were done based on Tibetan manuscripts, images of which are included. The Indian source works have been lost in time. The Tibetan texts we have are translations made by Vairochana, a famous Tibetan translator who went to India in search of the literature on instantaneous enlightenment in the Eighth Century of our era. His biography recounts his finding a teacher, Sri Singha, who had the transmission, but did not have the books, as the King had put them under lock and seal due to a disturbance involving a prostitute and a nun. So Sri Singha and Vairochana broke in to the palace by night, broke the seals, and stole the books. Then, over a period of many years, Vairochana studied these texts under Sri Singha. It is certain that Vairochana carried finished translations of several works with him when he returned to his country. The Tantras here translated are among the source works that inspired such great Tibetan luminaries as Longchen Rabjampa (1308-1364), Jigme Lingpa (1729-1798), and Mipham Gyatso (1846-1912). It is clear that the thinking within them was found critical to an understanding of the profundities of the Great Perfection, even hundreds of years after Vairochana’s translation, and that those who sought to reconcile the inspiration of the Great Perfection with the practical realities of a practicing path, such as the Mahayoga, found them to be critical to their understanding. The Tantras come to us from out of the same basic time period as the works of Saraha, and do discuss the Mahamudra at numerous points. About the Author
Christopher Wilkinson began his career in Buddhist literature at the age of fifteen, taking refuge vows from his guru Dezhung Rinpoche. In that same year he began formal study of Tibetan language at the University of Washington under Geshe Ngawang Nornang and Turrell Wylie. He became a Buddhist monk, for three years, at the age of eighteen, living in the home of Dezhung Rinpoche while he continued his studies at the University of Washington. He graduated in 1980 with a B.A. degree in Asian Languages and Literature and another B.A. degree in Comparative Religion (College Honors, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa). After a two year tour of Buddhist pilgrimage sites throughout Asia he worked in refugee resettlement programs for five years in Seattle, Washington. He then proceeded to the University of Calgary for an M.A. in Buddhist Studies where he wrote a groundbreaking thesis on the Yangti transmission of the Great Perfection tradition titled “Clear Meaning: Studies on a Thirteenth Century rDzog chen Tantra.” He proceeded to work on a critical edition of the Sanskrit text of the 20,000 line Perfection of Wisdom in Berkeley, California, followed by an intensive study of Burmese language in Hawaii. In 1990 he began three years’ service as a visiting professor in English Literature in Sulawesi, Indonesia, exploring the remnants of the ancient Sri Vijaya Empire there. He worked as a research fellow for the Shelly and Donald Rubin Foundation for several years, playing a part in the early development of the Rubin Museum of Art. In the years that followed he became a Research Fellow at the Centre de Recherches sur les Civilisations de l'Asie Orientale, Collège de France, and taught at the University of Calgary as an Adjunct Professor for five years. He has published several volumes of translations of Tibetan literature, and is currently engaged in further translations of classic Buddhist literature.

This translation is a welcome addition to a series of translations by Christopher Wilkinson of the Great Perfection Tantras. As the introduction points out, Great Perfection or Atiyoga is an instantaneous approach to enlightenment. As with all his translations, Christopher Wilkinson has made these tantras reader friendly. The texts flow easily so the reader may find he or she is getting ahead of themselves, for the content is profound and requires reflection. Two Indian tantric texts translated from Tibetan are covered: The Tantra of Great Bliss and The Tantra of the Natural Intent of the Heart. These are the basic texts, sans commentary. On one level the reader can enjoy the poetic sound, on another these texts represent the highest teachings of Buddhism, long secret to the western world. It goes without saying for most this is not the place to begin a Buddhist practice. It is a place for all to experience.

In terms of length, the Tantra of Great Bliss dominates the book. From the samadhi of primordial liberation, the Buddha’s words flow in rhythmic waves, one upon another in a crescendo leading towards pristine awakening. Perhaps these tantras are best read over time; if your mind wanders for a moment the line by line import is missed. If that happens double back, don’t miss what turns out to be gold throughout.

Mr. Wilkinson is the leading translator of Buddhism inn the world today. What a marvellous achievement in producing these fine texts.

All his translations of these rare and supreme teachings are so excellent that one can never be too grateful.

Long may Christopher Wilkinson continue to make the ultimate teachings of Atiyoga available.

Omitted are only the “Personal Notes” dated September 25, 1906, November 4, 1907, and March 6, 1908, which were translated by Dallas Willard and published in his translation of Husserl’s Early 2 Writings in the Philosophy of Logic and Mathematics. This course on logic and theory of knowledge fell exactly midway between the publication of the Logical Investigations in 1900-01 and Ideas I in 1913. It constitutes a summation and consolidation of Husserl’s logico-scientific, epistemological, and epistemo-phenomenological investigations of the preceding years and an important step in the journey from the descriptivo-psychological elucidation of pure logic in the Logical Investigations to the transcendental phenomenology of the absolute consciousness of the objective correlates constituting themselves in its acts in Ideas I. In this course Husserl began developing his transcendental phenomenology as the genuine realization of what had only been realized in fragmentary form in the Logical Investigations.

Husserl considered that in the courses that he gave at the University of Göttingen he had progressed well beyond the insights of the Logical Investigations. Once he exposed the objective theoretical scaffolding needed to keep philosophers from falling into the quagmires of psychologism and skepticism, he set out on his voyage of discovery of the world of the intentional consciousness and to introduce the phenomenological analyses of knowledge that were to yield the general concepts of knowledge needed to solve the most recalcitrant problems of theory of knowledge understood as the investigation of the thorny problems involving the relationship of the subjectivity of the knower to the objectivity of what is known.

This translation appears at a time when philosophers in English-speaking countries have heartily embraced the thoughts of Husserl’s German contemporary Gottlob Frege and his concerns. It is replete with insights into matters that many philosophers have been primed to appreciate out of enthusiasm for Frege’s ideas. Among these are: anti-psychologism, meaning, the foundations of mathematics, logic, science, and knowledge, his questions about sets and classes, intensions, identity, calculating with concepts, perspicuity, and even his idealism.

Good book - has helped me to build robust production machining workholding

Very good book. There has been a lot of helpful info to help me better understand the use of industrial Vacuum in general. With the knowledge gained, I have been able to design a better system for vacuum work holding for production machining.

Don' Waste Your Money

The information in the text is very basic and adds nothing of value for anyone with even a modicum of engineering experience. There is no mention of laboratory vacuum practice or high-vacuum manufacturing techniques such as used in semiconductor processes.

The Kindle version of this book is almost useless. The tables and figures are either missing or unreadable. This book was a great disappointment to me, especially at the price charged. Perhaps someone starting a maintenance job in an older manufacturing plant would find it useful. If you consider buying it for that purpose, get a paper copy, not the Kindle version.

The volume on "Fractional Distillation" was written in the hope that it would be of assistance to chemists in overcoming the difficulties so frequently met with in the laboratory, not only in the actual carrying out of the fractional distillation of a complex mixture but also in the interpretation of the results obtained.

The last copy was sold shortly after the declaration of war, and the question then arose whether a revised second edition of the book in its original form should be published. It was thought, however, by the Publishers that it would be wiser to extend the scope of the work so as to include distillation on the large scale as carried out in the manufacture of important products.

That this change in the character of the book was really advisable became more and more evident as the war increased in intensity and magnitude, because of the immense importance of such materials as acetone, toluene, petrol, glycerine, and so on, the production of which involved processes of distillation on an enormous scale, and for some of which new sources or methods of formation had to be sought and investigated.

It was obvious that the larger book could only be of real value if the sections on manufacturing processes were written by chemists thoroughly conversant with the various subjects dealt with, and it was eventually decided that I should edit the book if I could secure the co-operation of experts in the different branches of manufacture.

In these preliminary negotiations I received most valuable assistance from my friends, Professor F. E. Francis, D.Sc, Ph.D., and Professor W. E. Adeney, D.Sc, and my sincere thanks are especially due to Professor Francis for the great interest he has taken in the production of the book.

Unfortunately the heavy pressure of work entailed on all chemists by the war caused serious delay in commencing the book, and progress has necessarily been slow.
