About the Author
Gerard J. Tortora is a professor of biology and teaches microbiology, human anatomy, and physiology at Bergen Community College in Paramus, New Jersey. He received his M.A. in Biology from Montclair State College in 1965. He belongs to numerous biology/microbiology organizations, such as the American Society of Microbiology (ASM), Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS), American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), National Education Association (NEA), New Jersey Educational Association (NJEA), and the Metropolitan Association of College and University Biologists (MACUB). Jerry is the author of a number of biological science textbooks. In 1995, he was selected as one of the finest faculty scholars at Bergen Community College and was named Distinguished Faculty Scholar. In 1996, Jerry received a National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) excellence award from the University of Texas and was selected to represent Bergen Community College in a campaign to increase awareness of the contributions of community colleges to higher education. Berdell R. Funke received his Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in microbiology from Kansas State University. He has spent his professional years as a professor of microbiology at North Dakota State University. He taught introductory microbiology, including laboratory sections, general microbiology, food microbiology, soil microbiology, clinical parasitology, and pathogenic microbiology. As a research scientist in the Experiment Station at North Dakota State, he has published numerous papers on soil microbiology and food microbiology. Christine L. Case is a registered microbiologist and a professor of microbiology at Skyline College in San Bruno, California, where she has taught for the past 38 years. She received her EdD. in curriculum and instruction from Nova Southeastern University and her M.A. in microbiology from San Francisco State University. She was Director for the Society for Industrial Microbiology (SIM). She received the ASM and California Hayward outstanding educator awards. In addition to teaching, Chris contributes regularly to professional literature, develops innovative educational methodologies, and maintains a personal and professional commitment to conservation and the importance of science in society. Chris is also an avid photographer, and many of her photographs appear in this book.

He asistido a cursos de coaching varios y siempre me quedó la sensación de que no trenía forma de aplicar en la práctica lo aprendido. Este libro es ameno, práctico y consistente. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Off center designer warrants off center book

This is a great book on a very unique designer. I like how the collections are divided and discussed and how each collection was given a logo so that you can place each photo to the matching collection. Be aware that the book looks like it is printed off center at an angle. I actually called Rizzoli and they told me that that is the was the designer wanted to book to appear.

Easy and fun

This is just a cute story that's an easy read. Great beach material. Wishing there was more from this author!

Why spoil what would otherwise have been a cute little story with an incredibly unbelievable conflict? I get the sibling rivalry, and Marianne is a right bitch. What I don't get is how a smart, business-savvy woman like Emma allows that bitch to ruin her relationship with the man she loves, for TWO years! Really? You back off the man whom you love, who has asked you to marry him, and pursues you regardless, so your bitch of a sister, who is immature at best, can set her cap at him? You let her manipulate you to prove you love her? Just incredible! This only gets 3 stars because she says yes in the end. Otherwise, disappointing!

Finished in less than An Hour

I finished this book in literally 50 minutes. It was way too short and next to the nothing really happened in it. Alec and Emma are the main characters and there is a lot of drama between them but literally all the big scenes were completely skipped over!

This book was okay, but I felt the writing was a bit juvenile and everything that happened was too quick. The storyline was there, but the details and fillers needed to make it interesting we're not quite there. I love the storyline of Adam and Emma, but they need more to them that doesn't seem so cut and paste. Overall okay book but I don't think I'll be buying the next one.
