Worst introduction to measure theory?

The book begins with a historical overview. Unfortunately it is so badly written that it is difficult to follow. Furthermore, the author consistently misspells "Leibniz"-- he spells it "Leibnitz". I do not think that students should use texts that use incorrect spelling. Generally, the book leaves the reader with the impression that the author wrote it rather hastily so that it ended up a big pile of chaos. I can't think of anything good to say, I'm afraid. The question that bugs me most is: given that there are lots of good books out there about the subject, like for example Alan Weir's, why would anyone bother writing something like this? It is a mystery.
